The High School Football Huddle
A couple of weeks ago one of our fans wrote that Mississippi high school football doesn't get any respect in the national high school football polls. After doing a little research, I agree.
Madison Central is getting the props this year, but I think even with one loss seasons so far that South Panola and Olive Branch should get some notice based on their willingness to go out of state to take-on good programs, plus Meridian has put together a solid 5-0 record.

Meanwhile, Madison Central (#15 USA Today) is now 5-0 after a solid 24-3 win over previously unbeaten Clinton. According to the Clarion Ledger, 12,000 fans turned-out to see MC move to a perfect 5-0 for the first time since its last championship in 1999.
